Watched Canada play Tonga in rugby last night in the 2011 Rugby World Cup – ending in a 25-20 victory – and was impressed at first by the site of Adam Kleeberger, then by his play.
He looked the part and played the part. Learned now that he is from White Rock, good B.C. boy. He won man-of-the-match with 14 tackles. It may have been the game of his life, we will know within three more matches. The game overall was very exciting and has drawn me into the Rugby World Cup on the side of the Canadians, followed by the Australians, with the British team last (despite Tobruk). Actually, maybe South Africa last.
Don’t know much else about him, aside from his change in appearance since the 2007 World Cup.
Wishing him and the team all the best against those French dogs on Sunday.
Here’s a gallery of Kleeberger I built at work.
